Event Report
Many visitors of all ages. We have been doing our EV display with our city's local Earth Day here in Santa Cruz, CA for 11 or 12 years, starting with conversions, a RAV4 that escaped crushing, a Solectria, a T-Zero which is the precursor to the Tesla Roadster by AC Propulsion, an electric moped, before manufacturers began production cars. With great satisfaction, we have experienced increasing interest, better questions reflecting greater knowledge about EVs and people just needing a couple of questions asked before making their first purchase of an EV. Our EVs combined represented about 775,063 Oil-Free Miles of driving. We had an ebike display with test rides. We are also happy to report that we learned that our elected Sheriff of Santa Cruz County just bought a Tesla Model 3 that he loves and says it is the most fun car he has ever driven. When his former deputy saw it, he bought one as well. Progress!
