Event Report
A great event! Weather was perfect.
The City of Greensboro blocked off a downtown street where we had access to 2 blocks. The City also provided one of their new Protera electric buses! How awesome is that!
Then we had two (2) electric boats, one being towed by a Tesla X. It garnered a lot of attention. (See www.budsin.com) for more info on one of the electric boats that is hand made in NC and sold throughout USA and exported as well.
We had over 30 EV’s, including one of the original Toyota’s that Tesla built for them a long while back.
Our attendance was estimated at 800 people.
Thanks to DEED, we have other EV enthusiasts that found out about the event, and a few that drove over 100+ miles just to attend and show their EV in our event. Thanks DEED!

Event Description
Triad Electric Vehicle Association (tevanc.org) is proud to host our “Odyssey Event” on Saturday April 27, 2019, at downtown Greensboro, NC. (200 N. Davie Street).
In addition to our own TEVA members' cars - including traditional purchased EV’s as well as “converted ICE to EV cars”, we will showcase:
-> University efforts on sustainability
-> New Car Dealers showcasing their latest EV’s
-> Non-traditional EV’s such as electric boat, solar trailer generator, e-bikes, solar kits, etc.
