Event Report
Great variety of vehicles represented, including the new Leaf, SmartforTwo ED, Prius Prime, Honda Clarity, and four different Tesla models. Classic Tesla Roadster drew a lot of attention. The head of Alternate Energy solutions for our local utility came in the company Bolt. WMU team showed the fully solar powered Sunseeker competition car.

Event Description
Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive, Show and Tell in association with the Kalamazoo Earth Day Festival! EV owners will bring their plug-in vehicles to Academy St. on the NW end of Bronson Park in downtown Kalamazoo. Many will be available for short test drives on the surrounding streets. See for yourself why the world is shifting away from using petroleum to fuel transportation. WMU Sunseeker solar race car and other displays, pending confirmation. Public welcome, drop in any time, all questions will be answered.
