Event Report
The Dallas Drive Electric Earth Day event was a huge success! We've never partnered with another organization for previous Drive Electric Week events and this proved to be a benefit for us by teaming up with EarthX. This is the largest environmental event in the world (by some margin) and gave us the opportunity to see thousands of people every day and teach them about EVs. The event was three days and brought out students by the bus load on Friday and then the general public on Saturday and Sunday.
EV owners/attendees were able to interact with the public and give them a chance to ask any questions they have as well as sit in their vehicles. Unfortunately, due to the large crowd size, which EarthX estimates at 175,000, driving vehicles around the Fair Park property was too challenging and we were only able to have static displays. Our #texasEV shirts were passed out to those who showed interest in the vehicles as well as other educational materials.
A huge thanks goes out to our EV owners, the North Texas Tesla Owners Group, and the North Texas Electric Auto Association. This event would not be possible without their support and willingness to spend a weekend talking EVs with the public.
The North Texas EV community is one of the most passionate out there and always shows up to educate folks about EVs!

Event Description
We're excited to bring the North Texas Drive Electric Earth Day to Fair Park for EarthX. Join passionate, environmentally-focused individuals from all over Texas (and the country) as we show that electric vehicles are readily available for consumers to use right now.
Partners, the North Texas Tesla Owners Group and the North Texas Electric Auto Association will have vehicles of all shapes, sizes, and budgets for attendees to see.
EarthX is the largest EarthDay event in the world and we're excited to have this opportunity to educate folks about electric vehicles.
Registration for this event will be slightly different than the fall Drive Electric Week event. See details below!
This event will span three days (4/26, 4/27, and 4/28) and will be open to the public from 10am - 6pm. Event attendees will need to be at Fair Park no later than 9am and vehicles will be escorted to their parked location by 9:30am. Specific details on where vehicles will meet by 9am will be sent closer to the event.
Feel free to register on the Drive Electric Earth Day so we can have a full list of EV owners & those interested in EVs but all who plan to attend at Fair Park MUST register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/drive-electric-earth-day-at-earthx-registration-59645724969 and select the date they plan to attend. This will ensure we know who will be coming on which day and the appropriate parking passes can be provided. You don’t have to stay with your car the entire time — we have plenty of people to watch all of the cars while you step away to check out the great exhibits! There will be one opportunity to leave at 1pm if you want to attend but can't stay for the entire event. You don't have to open your car up to anyone, let them touch it, get inside or anything else you're uncomfortable about.
Stay tuned for additional details!
