Event Report
Are DEED event was part of the Montgomery County Greenfest greater event. Our DEED event was organized by Poolesville.Green in coordination with One Montgomery Green and local EV groups. Our space only allowed for 12 EVs, but they were supported by other EV owners. We had the first in the nation Police EV Chevy Bolt from the Hyattsville City Police Department as well as a Zero Motorcycle. Montgomery County Police, as well as the Park Police, was very interested in learning more about them. We had the manufacturer Audi and local dealership Fitzgerald participating. The day had a continuous flow of excited and inquisitive visitors. The event was a resounding success and we will do it again next year.

Event Description
On Sunday, April 28, 2019, Montgomery County GreenFest will be at Brookside Gardens with more of what you love, and located in one of the County's best natural treasures.
- Enjoy live musicians, drummers and dancers
- Kids tree climbing
- More than 80 vendors and exhibitors
- The electric vehicle and car show
- Food trucks
- And more!
Walk the trails, chill out on the grass, and explore the fabulous Visitor and Nature Centers, all while discovering how you can go green at home and in the community.

We are limited to the number of EVs that we can show, but we will really need volunteers to talk to the public. If you want to show your EV, you can register your EV here and by Thursday night we will let you know if we have room for yours. We can only accept a maximum of 12 vehicles. If you are selected you will need to be there from about 7a until 4pm.
