Event Report
The Electric Vehicle Association of Alberta was pleased to participate in Drive Electric Earth Day at one of the few events happening in Alberta in recognition of Earth Day.
The Edmonton Valley Zoo offered prime space beside their main entrance to showcase a Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model X and Jaguar i-Pace.
Over 4000 people attended their Easter/Earth Day 'Eggstravagansa' event and we were kept busy by patrons wanting to check out these electric cars. Most of them had never seen one in person before.
CTV news was on hand to cover the Zoo's event and also did a separate story on our involvement.

Event Description
EVs & Easter Eggs!
The Electric Vehicle Association of Alberta will be celebrating Earth Day at the Edmonton Valley Zoo Easter EGG-stravagant party.
Electric cars will be at the zoo grounds to showcase electric drive transportation at this family-friendly event.
There will be many activities that are all egg-related – from science experiments and crafts to tattoos, Sensory tables and of course, a scavenger hunt. Plus, “Get Closer” to some of the zoo residents by watching them go on their very own Easter egg hunts!
