Event Report
The Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership hosted a Drive Electric Earth Day event in conjunction with New Orleans City Park’s annual Earth Day celebration on April 16th. Local electric vehicle owners and dealerships brought their cars to create a special zero-emission vehicle alley on Victory Ave in front of the Botanical Gardens. Most attendees said it was their first time ever seeing an electric vehicle in person and were thrilled to get behind the wheel of the various models on display including a Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, Jaguar I-Pace, Nissan LEAF, and Honda Clarity.
The event was made possible through the support of local EV owners and advocates like New Orleans City Park, Paretti Jaguar of New Orleans, RideTHISbike and with the help of national sponsors Plug In America, Sierra Club, Electric Auto Association, and FLO.

Event Description
As part of City Park's Earth Day Celebration, the Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership (SLCFP) will be hosting an EV Alley on Victory Ave near the entrance to the New Orleans Botanical Garden! Register your EV on this website and feel free to use the orange "Contact" button on this page to contact SLCFP Director Courtney Young with any questions.
*** Victory Ave and Dreyfous Dr will be closed to traffic before and during the event. Only EVs will be allowed on Victory Ave during the event. Free parking will be available in the parking lot across from the entrance to the New Orleans Botanical Garden. ***
