The Oregon Electric Vehicle Association is hosting a DEED event on Thursday, April 11th from 7 to 9 PM.
We will be in the (covered) Plaza of Two World Trade Center at the corner of SW 1st Ave and SW Salmon St.
Electric vehicle owners are invited to park their EV in the plaza where they will have a chance to interact will the public as well as other EV owners. Vehicle access to the plaza will be mid-block on 1st Avenue thru the gate on the right side of the image above (between Salmon and Taylor). We will have curb ramps and volunteers guiding vehicles and helping direct parking.
This Google map link will help as a visual reference. Ramps
will be just in front of where the BMW is parked and the gate will be open.
The Plaza Opens for parking at 6, with the event starting at
7. There is an Oregon Electric Vehicle Association Board Meeting at 6:30 that
you are welcome to listen in on.
Social Hour and a chance to check out all the EV’s will start at 7, followed by snacks and drinks inside the conference center with a few words from Forth Mobility and the OEVA.
We will have a wide variety of plug-in vehicles currently available in Oregon on display. Owners, dealers and manufacturers will be available to share their experiences and answer questions about driving electric. If you're in the market and looking for a good place to compare EVs, or just curious and want to see what's currently available, we would love to chat with you.
Hope to see you there!
