Event Report

Despite a cool rainy day, we had over 160 people attend, 19 cars on display or for test drives, and even a food truck. Central Maine motors came with 4 EVs, and the turnout was so good, they brought in two more. There were four private Teslas for viewing and one of them gave numerous test drives. The two non-profits and three solar PV vendors in attendence were glad to be in the field house because of the weather.

There were 19 EVs in Waterville, Maine, at Thomas College, for Drive Electric Earth Day, including this Tesla.

Event Description

 

This event is a collaborative of Thomas College Club Green, Thomas students in the course "Toward a Sustainable Society", the Sustain Mid Maine Coalition, and Central Maine Motors (bringing three EVs).  Other non-profits and solar companies will be there.   As of April 17, 13 EVs are registered with cumulative EV miles driven of over 180,000 miles.
