Event Report

Held on the campus of Marshall University, the DEED event was a hit at the Earth Day celebration at Marshall. The prime location in front of the Marshall Student Center The eight EV owners attending were busy during the entire event explaining and showing their cars to owners. In addition, one car dealer offered rides in a Plug-in Hybrid Chrysler mini-van from a driveway a few feet from the display cars.

Marshall University Earth Day Celebration

April 24 and 25, 2019

Marshall Student Center

On Wednesday, April 24 a static outdoor display of two electric cars will be placed next to the fountain at the entrance to the Marshall Student Center, and a display table will be located in the lobby of the Marshall Student Center.  The display times will be 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

On Thursday, April 25 an electric vehicle discussion and slide show will be presented by Dr. Frederick Walker in Room 2E10 at the Marshall Student Center at 2 PM.  Dr. Walker is a staff member at Marshall University.
