Event Report
We drove a small* but nice caravan from Kilauea to Anahola, where the Kauai Surfriders helped us to facilitate a productive beach cleanup. We filled several large contractor bags with marine debris and got to explain and chat about EVs with each other, interested public, beachgoers and the attending Surfrider members. Afterwards we had and a fun potluck.
* The Sunday before Earthday fell on Easter Sunday, which we only realized when we had everything lined up and organized... many EV drivers could not make it and our next EVent will be on a more family-friendly day.

Event Description
Take a drive or a ride with EV Kauai on Sunday April 21, 2019 to Anahola Beach, where we plan to also do a beach clean up in honor of Earth Day. It's a potluck after the beach clean up, so you are welcome to bring something to share.

3:30 PM Meet at Anaina Hou Community Park
4:00 PM Launch the caravan
4:30 PM Arrive at just north of the Anahola river mouth for a beach clean up
5:30 PM Potluck and fellowship
6:00 PM End
