Event Report

It went well! There were 3 volunteers this year (including myself), each of whom had a different EV (a GM Volt, Nissan Leaf, and Tesla 3). I estimate that 10 people stopped by and talked with us. Of those 10 people, we gave rides to 5 people (all wanted to get a test ride in the Tesla 3). Next year should be even better. We'll get scheduled earlier, and hopefully have more folks with EVs join us, we should create a banner to be more visible, and do more PR for the event ahead of time. This year, I found out about DEED one week before the event, and only got the other 2 volunteers on board over the 3 days prior to Earth Day. We therefore were unable to get any PR out prior to the event.

In terms of hours of volunteer hours spent, I spent about 5.5 hours (4 hours of preparation, 1.5 hours at the event), and the other two volunteers spent about 2 hours each (30 mins of preparation, 1.5 hours at event).
