Event Report
Many thanks to Pima Community College and their Center for Excellence in Applied Technology for presenting Tucson Electric Vehicle Association's EV Only Car Show. The show was well-attended by Pima Community College students, faculty and members of the general public and included a wide variety battery electric vehicles, including Tesla Models S, 3 and X, Chevy Bolt, a 1985 Pontiac Firebird EV conversion (a big hit with the Applied Technology crowd!), Fiat 500e, Kia Soul EV, and Nissan Leaf. TEVA members were on hand to chat with participants and onlookers about all things EV. There was even a presentation available on the upcoming Aptera EV models. Many thanks to Greg Wilson, Dean of Applied Technology, for helping with logistics and his tireless commitment to EV technology, and to the volunteers from TEVA who helped make the 2021 event a success: Dave, Jerry, Bryce, Paul, Len, Don and the rest of Tucson crew (and friends and family).

Event Description
On Thursday, April 22, 2021, support and learn about the leading edge of the electrification of transportation by coming out to the Pima Community College Downtown Campus for Drive Electric Earth Day Tucson to see the a variety of exciting battery electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) available here in Arizona right now, including Tesla, Chevrolet, Zero and Nissan electric vehicles!
Learn the ins and outs of driving electric from members of the Tucson Electric Vehicle Association (TEVA) and see the vehicles up close and personal. Drive Electric Earth Day is presented by Plug In America and the Electric Auto Association in local collaboration with Pima Community College and the Center of Excellence in Applied Technology and TEVA.
