Event Report
Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2021 Drive Electric Earth Day event!
We had at least 20 EVs from five different manufacturers. There was plenty of opportunity for the interested and the curious to look at, ask about, and experience what owning an EV is all about.
More than a few people were moved from curiosity to becoming an EV enthusiast. It’s likely at least a few will become EV owners and join us next year!
Transitioning away from fossil fuels is for most of us very important and serious business, events like this show that it is also a lot of fun!
Event Description
Our Drive Electric Earth Day Event starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday April 24th, 2021. Many EV owners will be there with their vehicles so you learn more about what EV ownership is all about.
At 12:30 there will be an EV parade down Main Street. The parade will continue to Kickapoo Creekside in Readstown to celebrate Vernon county's first DC fast charger. Vernon Electric Staff will demo the new charger and be available for questions.
