Event Report

Our virtual Drive Electric Earth Day event had 27 in attendance. Our presenters were John Bringenberg and John Avenson with New Energy Colorado. New Energy Colorado is a non-profit with deep roots in Colorado’s solar and environmental communities. They work to provide education on energy issues to citizens as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. They believe that an informed citizenry, who they are organizing as Solar CitiSuns, will play a vital role in the transformation from centralized fossil fuel energy to a system built on renewables and more customer choice.

It’s all about efficiency, conservation and alternative energy, thus EVs play an important role in this overall plan. After the informative presentation there were many questions on the subject.

Come join us at the Denver Electric Vehicle Council to hear how rooftop solar can help EV owners save money and how owning an electric vehicle can make rooftop solar an even better choice. The speaker will be John Bringenberg, Board President of New Energy Colorado.
