Event Report
Over 100 people participated in our Drive Electric Earth Day 2022 event. There were plenty of EV's available for participants to look at, sit in, ride and drive. Even with freezing temperatures and cold wind the energy and enthusiasm of our area EV owners was in the air!
Vehicles from Chevrolet, BMW, Volkswagen, Tesla, Honda, Kia, Chrysler, Nissan and Ford were all here.
There was a lot of interest from the folks who aren't EV owners, yet... We expect that more than one interested person will be joining us next year with their own EV!
B-earthday cake to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Vernon County Energy District was available along with hot coffee.
At 12:30 we lined up for a mini EV convoy to Sleep Hollow Ford to learn more about the brand new DC fast chargers installed by Vernon and Richland Electric Cooperatives.
