Event Report
It was a beautiful and busy evening at the free monthly KBGO Cruise Night where all vehicles and powertrains are welcome. There were no brief interactions tonight, and we definitely needed more volunteers and more/newer EVs to show. Everyone had so many great questions. This car crazy crowd is very curious about the new market but very impressed to see a 10-year-old with 110,000 miles.
Something special worth mentioning- last year one of the gasser guys hopped in the passenger seat and smiled when I hit the wow pedal. Today he hopped in the driver's seat and took a little spin around town. When I asked him to put his experience into words, he was only able to string together two coherent sentences: "I kept waiting for it to shift gears" and "It's different. It's really different."
Yessir. It certainly is. :-)
We look forward to seeing everyone again on the last Saturday of the month, March-October. Kids and pets welcome. No glass, no burnouts.
