Event Report
Green Columbus hosted a wonderful event Zero Waste Event with an estimated 10,000 attendees enjoying the full day happening. Food Trucks, bands, and activities for families. There were loads of displays including Sustainable Columbus, Impact, Big Lots, solar companies, composting, recycling, and of course our Drive Electric Columbus EV display. We had around 1500 visitors to our display which included popular EV models like Tesla Model 3, BMW i3, Kia Niro, Tesla Model X, and more! COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) also displayed one of their brand new Electric Buses in our display and it was a huge hit with everyone. At our information tent, we gave out all the information sheets from our DEED kit along with some other local resources. We had our own design of DEED sticker printed which we gave out to visitors and had collected 50 EV model Matchbox/Hot Wheel to pass out to children that participated in our RC races (we use these to demonstrate that EVs are for everyone since kids can take a battery-powered vehicle for a test drive as well)

Event Description
Join us at Genoa Park for the Green Columbus Earth Day Celebration! This family-friendly event will feature local music, food, and drinks from a diverse array of vendors. Don't miss the fun of this all-day, family-friendly event.

Keep it Green! All of the vendors will be supporting our goal to make Earth Day Columbus a zero-waste event. Genoa Park is conveniently located for easy access via bike trails and public transit.
Drive Electric Columbus will have our members on hand with their Electric Vehicles and they will be talking about their experience driving electric every day.
