Event Report
There were 14 EVs at the Show and two electric bicycles shown by their owners. There were no EV car or e-bike dealers present. A scooter dealer from the Simply Mac store did attend and set-up a canopy. The morning Caravan preceding the Show had 6 EVs participating in a drive through downtown Corvallis. EVs at the Show were: 2013 Leaf, 2018 Tesla 3, 2019 Hyundai Kona, 2018 Chevy Bolt, and two 2021 Volvo XC40 Recharge, 2011 Think City, 2018 BMW i3, 2019 Kia Niro, 2008 Tesla Roadster, 2019 Fiat 500e, 2013 Toyota RAV4, 2018 Nissan Leaf, 2021 Tesla 3, and a 2018 Tesla 3.

Event Description
The
Corvallis Sustainability Coalition invites
you--the owner of an all-electric or plug-in hybrid car—to Rally at the
Fairgrounds and caravan through
downtown Corvallis on Saturday, April 30. Then, if you choose, continue the rally with a fun scavenger hunt touring the local
highways and streets of Albany, Corvallis, and Philomath. The scavenger hunt is based on your ability
to correctly answer questions about things visible along the rally route and
requires assistance from a passenger/navigator. A scavenger hunt $5 cash
registration fee includes a tailgate
lunch of pizza at noon back at the Fairgrounds.
Rally assembly and registration
begins at 9 a.m. Departure at 10 a.m. sharp. Then at the Fairgrounds from Noon - 5 pm, the EV Show will have EV owners and dealers sharing with the public their knowledge and experience with electric vehicles of all types, including electric bikes and scooters. Ride-alongs will be an option. Information on solar panels and home charging will also be available. This event aims to show the growing availability and selection of electric vehicles of all types.
