Event Report
On Saturday April 22nd we enjoyed our annual Drive Electric Earth Day Celebration! A big thank you to everyone who joined us! And thank you so much to our vehicle drivers, vendors, volunteers, chefs and musicians. We couldn't have done it without you!The day started out rainy but then the skies cleared for almost exactly the three hours of the event, 11a - 2p! Attendees enjoyed learning fascinating information about electric vehicles and sustainable energy from our vendors and vehicle drivers, enjoyed live music from the band Honeytown, and specialty lunch from Buen Provecho and Marr's Café.
It was our biggest DEED event yet with:
• 40 vehicles
• 26 different model types
• A variety of vehicles from cars to trucks and vans, e-bikes and an electric Harley motorcycle!
• EV Test Rides
• Solar powered phone charging
• Electric car matchbox and hot-wheels for kids
