Lowell Drives Electric Earth Day was held on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, from 12 - 4 pm along the banks of the Merrimack River at Heritage Farm Ice Cream. Attendees enjoyed ice cream, spoke with owners of 25 different electric vehicles, took rides from 11 different electric vehicle owners and also test drove a Lucid Air from the Natick, Massachusetts, Lucid Dealership that was in attendance. The Thomson Auto Group also attended with a Kia EV6. Our local utility National Grid had a booth with information on off-peak charging and the environmental group 350.org also had a tent at Lowell Drives Electric. Despite overcast skies and a strong wind, the participants enjoyed a great afternoon of electric vehicles!
