Event Report

Team PUD came together to put on an amazing event for our customers last Saturday, April 22. Every corner of the District lent a hand either in preparation or implementation of the event. We estimate between 4,000 and 5,000 customers visited us throughout the afternoon!

Here are a few highlights:

• We gave out 310 Advanced Power Strips and 875 LEDS to help make customers’ homes more energy efficient

• We gave out some trees that will be safe to plant around powerlines

• Happy children assembled 250 pollinator kits that will later help happy bees, butterflies and hummingbirds fulfill their pollinator tasks

• In partnership with the Snohomish County Electric Vehicle Association, almost 30 electric vehicles were on display for customers to learn about.

• Human Resources connected with hundreds of future Team PUD members.

EV Car Show

Is an electric vehicle in your future? The EV Car Show gives you a chance to check out a variety of electric vehicles without the pressure of salesperson. Get the real skinny on EVs from your neighbors that own them. See directions for bringing your electric vehicle for display at the event below:

EV Car Show Participant Event Day Directions

You may bring your vehicle for display between 9:15 and 10:15. Please be in your space no later than 10:30. If traveling from I-5, you can take the Broadway exit and turn right at California Street, just past the Angel of the Winds Arena. You can also take the Pacific Street exit and travel west to Broadway. Enter the past the west end parking lot and continue to the main lot. There will be people guiding you to your space in the vehicle display area. Note that parts of California and Virginia streets will be blocked off for displays. Due to safety issues for foot traffic, please expect to display your vehicle until the event ends at 2 PM.

Truckstravaganza! (aka Touch a Truck)

Children, and those young at heart, will be dazzled by the opportunity to get up close to PUD vehicles and other first-responder trucks. Meet the men and women of the PUD and have your picture taken in a PUD bucket truck!

Energize Your Home!

Do you have a passion for saving money? Do you love giveaways? After you enjoyed the outside festivities, come inside the PUD lobby to learn about how you can save money on your energy bill. Find out what the PUD is planning for the future, see how the PUD is working to protect our environment, and grab some fun giveaways!

But wait, there’s more!

  • Meet our new squirrel mascots!
  • Children can make mason bee houses!
