Event Report

Ohio University's Earth Day celebrations put on by the Department of Sustainability featured an EV showcase with local EV group Drive Electric Southeast Ohio. Local Organizations SOPEC, HAPCAP, Rural Action, ARP solar and Third Sun Solar Kokosing came out to support and members from clean transportation organizations Clean Fuels Ohio and CALSTART were in attendance to answer questions. There were 15 vehicles in attendance highlighted by the Athens Public Transit's electric shuttle bus and the City of Logan PD's Tesla model Y. 

Event Description

 

Come celebrate OHIO Earth Day with the local Drive Electric Ohio chapter, Drive Electric Southeast Ohio. This is a chance to learn about electric vehicles (EV's) and hear from people who work in the industry about the advantages driving electric. There will be representatives from CALSTART, Clean Fuels Ohio, SOPEC and more to talk to! Have any questions about driving electric? Come ask owners of EV's about their experiences driving one! We will have various models of EV's on display from cars and motorcycles to bikes and skateboards!
