Event Report
The weather, cold and snowing. The EVent, electrifying.The Mid America Electric Automobile Association's 2023 Drive Electric Earth Day EVent was held Saturday at the Village Presbyterian Church. Thirty-two club members as well as EV and Plug-In vehicle owners annual Earth Day tradition was highlighted by one of the two Tesla patrol vehicles used daily by the Leawood Kansas Police Department.
Other vehicles included Nissan's LEAF: Chevrolet's Bolt and Spark: Ford's F 150 Lightning, Fusion Energi, and C-MAX; Jeep's Wrangler; Hyundai's Loniq plug in hybrid; Tesla's Model 3, X, and Y; Volkswagen's ID.4; Kia's EV6 and Niro Plug in hybrid: Rivian's R1T; MINI's Cooper; Smart's Fortwo; and a Zero motorcycle.
