Event Report
This event was the quarterly public meeting of the Emerald Valley EVA (eveva.org), a Chapter of the Electric Vehicle Association (myeva.org). The event was in-person at a local electric utility office board room and remote by zoom. Several members brought their EVs to show. In addition to an announcement time for the several events planned in April, there was a refreshment and free discussion time and a short business meeting.Prof. Xiulei “David” Ji is a Professor of Chemistry at Oregon State University and presented on a significant grant received by the University to continue research in battery chemistry. He was quite optimistic that battery chemistry could be significantly improved to increase density of energy and longevity of use. His presentation was well received.
