Event Report
On Saturday, April 22nd, Knoxville Electric Vehicle Association (KEVA) was invited to participate in the Oak Ridge Farmers' Market (East Tennessee FARM) Earth Day celebration. KEVA members Stephen and Nicole Mounger set up the information booth and had a Zero Motorcycles SR/S and Tesla Model Y on display. They were joined by Rural Reimagined with a Ford Lightning and a Chevy Bolt EUV. They had the opportunity to speak with several EV curious patrons. They were able to dispel some misinformation and give a real world experience of driving, charging and traveling in Electric Vehicles. Some lively discussions were had about environmental impacts of driving electric. KEVA appreciates East Tennessee FARM for allowing us the chance to celebrate Earth Day with them.

Event Description
Please join us as we celebrate Earth Day. East Tennessee FARM and Knoxville Electric Vehicle Association (KEVA) are teaming up on April 22, 2023 from 8am until 12pm. KEVA members will be set up at the Oak Ridge Farmer's Market to display our Electric Vehicle and discuss all things Electric Vehicle related. Have you been considering purchasing an EV? Are you interested in learning more about how EVs work? Do you have an EV but would like more tips about driving and traveling with it? Stop by and see us and we will do our best to help.
*Note to any EV drivers: this event does not allow for any more vehicles to be on display; however, volunteers/participants are welcome to come and speak to market patrons about your EV experience*
