Event Report
First pass highlights:Our TEVA of NC event group was invited to the annual Sustainability Fair held in South Durham, NC on April 29. This was an outdoor display of full size and Light EVs with an information table.
The weather was a bit iffy at the start so few attendees engaged with our display until breaks during the program or after lunch when the weather cleared up.
We did offer rides on our LightEVs:
* CycleBoard Elite
* Trikke Pon-e 2WD
For this event the only EV rides were rides on the Light EVs after signing a liability waiver.
During the session, Mark Smith (your event reporter) gave a talk entitled
"Why Your Next Vehicle Should Be Electric" https://bit.ly/TEVA-Next-EV1
About 1/10 of the attendees have an EV, and 2/3 are in the process of looking for an EV or finalizing the purchase.
