Event Report
United Cooperative Services is the local solar energy (and soon internet) provider for thousands of Central Texans in 6 counties. The Meridian office hosts the only public (non-hotel, non-dealership) charging station in Bosque County.
It was a very windy but beautiful day. We had hotwheels and matchbox cars to give to kids, and a rug for them to play on while we talked to mom & dad. Wind speed averaging 10mph with gusts of 20+ meant we spent most of the day chasing things that were getting blown off the tables.
Special thank you to the wonderful workers of UCS... especially the linemen... you keep us turned on.
Event Description
Join us at Bosque County's only public charging station, hang out with EV owners, take a ride (maybe even drive) in an EV. Ask us anything - grid resiliency, EV tax credits, choosing the right charging station, and more.
Breakfast (donuts?), coffee, and lunch (pizza? mexican? we'll vote on it) will be offered.
