Event Report
We had 4 High School Students circulating as "EV Ambassadors" with a survey for attendees. The survey response was very positive for the Expo from both dealers and attendees. We also had Rutgers come and show off their solar-powered car and Princeton came to exhibit on their EV Racer. Also had tables showing off electric landscaping equipment, Composting solutions and a table for Avenues-in-Motion, a street safety group from Morristown. The pizza warmer was being powered from the Ford F-150 Lightning. We also raffled off an EV....Lego version!Event Description
This is the fourth annual EV Expo in Madison. Like the three previous very-successful Expos, this is sponsored by the Environmental Commissions of Madison, Chatham Borough and Chatham Township but will be at a larger location near town hall on Kings Road in Madison. It will be on Saturday April 27 from 9 am to 2 pm. We will have dealers showing off their newest EVs and answering questions as well. Dealers exhibiting include Tesla, Porsche, Lucid, Mercedes, Honda, VW, Subaru, BMW, Toyota, Volvo, Chevrolet, Ford, Audi, Polestar and others. Several dealers will provide test drives. We will also have electric Bicycles to see. As a special feature, we have invited experimental EV teams from Columbia, Cornell, NYU, Rutgers and Princeton to bring their experimental cars. We will have much more space than in past years. EV Owners planning to show off their car at the Expo please register on the DEED site or e-mail us ahead of time.
