Event Report
The North Bay Chapter of the Electric Vehicle Association participated in the City of Santa Rosa's Earth Day Event with more volunteers than ever despite also fielding an event in Ukiah on the same day. Once again, Val the customized Toyota with visible Mini Cooper and Nissan Leaf components got the greatest attention. Most people wanted to know how John and Ellen built Val and how John drives it every day. Also on display were an Arcimoto, a Tesla Model 3 and a Chevy Bolt EUV. Feedback was provided to Santa Rosa that we want to showcase more EVs in the future. Many new EV owners were curious to learn more about volunteering and attending meetings locally through NBEAA.org. And others wanted to join MyEVA.org to support future efforts. It was clear on Earth Day that the Santa Rosa area is adopting EVs in a big way.
