Event Report
First Selectman Bill Gerber welcomed everyone and the town supplied one of the many EVs in their new municipal fleet (all EVs!). We had our annual Environmental Legislator Forum moderated by Mary Hogue, Chair of the CT League of Conservation Voters, with all four of state delegation in attendance. We once again asked why we can have direct sales of cars in CT and our state senator, who has been in opposition, explained his concern for the customer. As always, we partner with the Fairfield Y during their national Healthy Kids Day because we feel the importance of Earth Day and moving to EVs is inspired by children, who will inherit our mess. And because the focus is on health, we also felt this is a good match.
