Our Electric Vehicle Showcase event at Earth Day Omaha (EDO) at Elmwood Park on Saturday, April 27th was met with nice weather after seven tornados struck Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa the previous Friday afternoon. We had 23 electric vehicles plus an Omaha Transit battery-electric bus. In addition to many private owners, we had five dealers display new vehicles.Two

Event Description
See,
touch and sit in the driver’s seat in our variety of electric vehicles on
display. Not just automobiles, but electric-assist bicycles, and a
battery-electric transit bus!
Come
attend the Nebraska Sierra Club and Eastern Nebraska Electric Vehicle
Association's Annual Omaha Area DEED Show. Our display and booth will be part
of the Earth Day Omaha
Celebration at Elmwood Park. The event is free to the public and provides
entertainment for all ages.
The
vehicle display will be in the parking lot on the southwest side of the park,
and our booth providing EV information will be adjacent to the north side of
the vehicle display.
Come
meet the many enthusiastic EV owners who will be displaying their vehicles.
Restrooms
and refreshments will be available at the park.

Directions: For display vehicles - Drive north on Elmwood Park Rd. from 67th and Pacific Streets to the parking lot with the EV Display. Visitor parking at Earth Day Omaha is available at the Univ. of NE - Omaha (UNO) parking structure northwest of the Park. By Omaha Metro Transit, take the ORBT Bus Rapid Transit to the 62nd & Dodge Station. Walk two blocks east to Dodge & Elmwood Park Rd., then south through the park to the Celebration.
