The Earth Action Expo is an annual event sponsored by the Midland Chapter of the American Chemical Society. The 2024 theme is “Get a Charge out of Chemistry” with batteries and electric/hybrid vehicles of special interest for this year's show. The event is family-friendly with things to see and 'hands on' activities for all ages, as well as vendors selling items plus food trucks. There will also be several presentations dealing with Earth Day and how we all can help our planet.

It will be held rain or shine, with most activities indoors. An outdoor area will be sectioned off for EV owners and dealers to show off and talk about their vehicles. We are trying to get a good cross section of  EVs displayed in a special section in front and on the side of the school (with duplicates close by in the parking lot) so please let us know you are coming and what vehicle you are bringing by contacting Gina at: [email protected]  so we can plan placement of your vehicle accordingly / send you detailed information ahead of time.
