Event Report
This was a stand alone event at a church parking lot on a busy street across from a major grocery store. We had advertised in local media, our major expense. We recruited at least 30 EVs for display including a Fisker Ocean, BZ4x, Rivian R1T, Ford Lightning, and many more common but beautiful EVs.There was a steady stream of interested citizens who came and asked questions of owner/exhibitors. At least one confirmed that she went out immediately and traded her gasmobile for an EV. I suspect there were others who did the same but did not report back.
The weather was brisk but mostly sunny. The exhibitors were very happy with our reception and location which drew passers by who had not heard about it as well as those who heard our radio ads or read our print ones.
A successful event is one that is kept busy which we were. I believe the several people in the organizing committee were very happy with the result. We will likely do it again.
Event Description
Owners will bring their electric vehicles of all sorts to display. Owners will be available to answer questions and demonstrate their vehicles from Pickup Trucks, to Vans, to RVs, to Sedans, electric bikes, and everything in between. We will help you learn more and get you started on deciding what EV will work best for you, your family and your business. We do not represent any particular companies but are all volunteers who want you to make the best decisions that meet your needs for electric transportation.
