Event Report
The IKEA DEEM was a success. Started slow but picked up towards the middle and ending parts. A good number of EVs and those that voiced an interest in EVs and the Chapter. A good many already own EVs, mostly Teslas. Weather was warm and humid but cool breezes made it comfortable enough.Ford F-150 EV Truck was a popular attraction. Also the non-Tesla brands (Chevy, KIA, BMW, Hun.).
Overall a success. Always best to have snacks and water to give out. The attendees and visitors appreciate it and is a good conversation starter.
IKEA has always come through with DEEM events throughout the years. I was told that they even had signs in their store (Katy Freeway - Houston, TX) advertising the event. They also sent out announcements via their newsletters. Went above and beyond in promoting the event.
