Event Report
The weather and venue were great this year, and the participants enjoyed a relaxing afternoon sharing experiences with each other and visitors. New EV owners were able to get helpful tips from experienced owners and visitors were able to get straight answers from experienced EV owners. We had a total of 19 vehicles at the show, with 17 models from 8 manufacturers represented. The types of vehicles included BEVs (including a Sonders electric motorcycle) but no PHEVs. One owner drove from Boise, ID with their Kia EV6 to participate (bravo)! Three participants brought vehicles which had not been registered for the show, but these were great last-minute additions! Local dealerships brought 5 vehicles. Demonstration drives were given. This year's show clearly demonstrated the expanding selection of EVs available to the public as well as the increasing level of interest from the public. Many thanks to the Mid-Columbia Electric Vehicle Association and the REACH Museum for organizing this event. Thanks also to Tri-City area EV owners, Overturf Motor Company, and Corwin Ford for enthusiastically showing their vehicles and spending time with visitors.

Event Description
Come view EVs up close and talk to actual EV owners about their experiences owning and driving EVs. Take a demo ride! If you already own an EV, bring yours and share your experiences. Meet your fellow EV owners and members of Mid-Columbia Electric Vehicle Association (MCEVA). Talk to area EV dealer reps. Fact sheets about EVs, Tax credits and charging infrastructure will be available. This event is part of the family friendly 2024 Earth Day Celebration at the REACH Museum with food trucks, music, insightful talks, youth activities, and myriad opportunities to connect with the community and promote environmental awareness. The EVs and DEEM booth will be in the visitor parking lot in front of the REACH Museum.
