Event Report
This event was a gathering at the Gil Kahele Rec. Area (Mauna Kea Park) on Hawaii Island. There were four groups that gathered at different points on the island - Kona, Waimea, Waikoloa Village, and Hilo. Each group traveled in a convoy that converged at the recreation area, where we socialized for a few hours.
Owners had the opportunity to check out a variety of new EV models, and the public had the chance to do the same and ask questions. The Kia EV9 and Ford Lightning were highlights. We had a good mix of EVs - various Teslas, Hyundais, Mercedes, Fords, Chevy, and Nissan were represented.
Several rides were offered, and information brochures were shared.
We also had a potluck that allowed for community and further discussion.
