Earth Charter Indiana hosted an earth day event in New Albany, IN. Education exhibits, yoga and a tree give-away was included. The focus was on native plants, reducing carbon emissions, and the National Earth Day theme.Evolve KY displayed their EVs to share in the true values of fighting climate change thru clean energy transportation.

Event Description
Citizens Climate Lobby and Co-Resiliency Coordinators for Earth Charter Indiana are planning an Earth Day Celebration in New Albany on Saturday, April 20th. Evolve KY, a non-profit promoter of clean energy transportation, will offer a display of late model EVs and will offer ride 'n drives for the interested public. Other participating groups are: New Albany Lions Club, IUS GREENadiers Environmental and Sustainability Club, Greater Indiana, Girl Scouts, and Stein Law Office. More participants are expected.
