Event Report
I say 100,000 people were exposed to the event because we got great news coverage from WITN during their noon news, 5pm news, and 6pm news segments, which are broadcast throughout Greenville, Pitt County, and eastern North Carolina. Here is a link to the news story: ECU hosts electric vehicle demonstration day (witn.com)We did not have any speakers, but the ECU Sustainability Program did sign the Charge@Work Pledge.
Our sponsors included: Greenville Utility Commission, EV Noire, Charge@Work, NC Clean Energy Technology Center, Piedmont and Coastal NC Clean Communities Coalition, and EVAL (Electric Vehicle Action Leadership), Pecheles Auto Dealer, Lee Kia Auto Dealer.
Our vehicles on display included: Chevy Bolt EUV, Tesla Model 3, Ford F-150 Lightning, Kia EV6, Audi Q8 eTron, VW ID.4

Event Description
8am: Cars arrive and
begin charging on Health Sciences Campus (HSC) in the Brody Lot w/ EV Charger
8-9am: Setup an EZ-up
canopy and tables with chairs and EV fact sheets, brochures, financial
incentives guide, ECU Sustainability Program materials, Earth Week flyers, etc.
9am-11am: EV Demo
Event for HSC students, staff, and faculty
11am-12pm: Lunch
Break
12pm-1pm: Relocate
and setup in Parking Lot with EV Charger by the Austin Building
1-3pm: EV Demo Event
for Main Campus students, staff, and faculty
3-4pm: Breakdown table displays and charge cars before leaving town
