Event Report
EVs at the Symphony was Drive Electric Dayton's first event with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and coincided with the Solar Eclipse of April 8. The orchestra's superb performances was climaxed by Holst's The Planets. Both evening's performances were well attended and as the audience entered the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center they viewed EVs parked in front of the center's entrances: BMW's from Evans Motor Works and Mercedes Benz from Mercedes-Benz of Centerville. We held an information table in the center's lobby where we entertained the curious and the hesitant about EVs. Our first venture with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra will see future events and Drive Electric Dayton is thrilled with this grand potential.

Event Description
"EVs At The Symphony" is a collaboration between Drive Electric Dayton and the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance. The Dayton Philharmonic's performance will include Holst, "The Planets" to honor our planet, the upcoming solar eclipse, and supporting EVs.

Arrive at 6:30pm April 5 or April 6, to view our indoor display table. During the concert's intermission Drive Electric Dayton volunteers will share with attendees the benefits of owning/driving an EV, the need of electrification in all areas with emphasis on underserved/underemployed communities. And to celebrate the Total Solar Eclipse, April 8, Drive Electric Dayton will provide solar glasses to attendees stopping at our table (thanks to Drive Electric Dayton sponsor Village Solar, Yellow Springs).
The concert begins at 7:30pm sharp.
