Customers and neighbors of Lexington Food Co-op will gain a chance to celebrate Earth Week by kicking the tires of battery electric vehicles on display at a weeknight installment of Drive Electric Earth Month.

"An Evening of Electrifying Taste" is set for Thursday, April 25, from 6 p.m.–8 p.m. in the parking lot of Lexington Cooperative Market, 1678 Hertel Ave, Buffalo, New York, 14216.

The co-op, together with the Electric Vehicle Association of Western New York, and Tesla Owners New York State, Niagara Frontier region, is inviting co-op “owners” and the public at large to meet fellow Western New Yorkers who have made the switch to battery electric vehicles. Attendees will be free to ask questions and learn the reality of EV ownership directly from those who know it best, locals who have chosen zero-emissions vehicles for daily commutes and long-distance trips.

Thanks to the on-site Level 2 ChargePoint stations, there will be demonstrations of public charging as well as tips on installing and topping off every night with residential charging.

This one-evening celebration, with multiple brands of battery EVs to see, is open to all.
