Logan City is hosting a Solar and electric vehicle education night on April 23, 2024 in the community room at the Logan Library (285 N Main Street in Logan). This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about solar and electric vehicles, be connected to those in the solar and EV industry and have all of your questions about these technologies answered. If you have ever thought about adding solar on your home or purchasing an electric vehicle, this evening is for you!

Beginning at 5:30 PM professionals will give a presentation on topics such as:

  • An overview on Solar PV and solar rates
  • How to evaluate a solar bid
  • How to calculate payback
  • Costs that may be external to a solar bid
  • Tax incentives available for solar and electric vehicles
  • All about electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.

When the presentations are done (approximately 6:30 PM), solar professionals and electricians Green Box Solar and Bassett Electric will be on hand to answer specific questions about your property. Logan City Light & Power will be present to answer questions about permitting and installer requirements. We will also have four electric vehicles on site for you to look at courtesy of Murdock dealerships. The event will conclude at 7:30 pm. This event is free and open to all.
