Event Report
The vibe at our EV Expo at SLO Earthfest in Meadow Park was electric! Six dealers from Lucid, Chevy, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, and Toyota each brought 2 cars for test drives. Six other cars were there for show, including 3 that powered the entire event! The City of SLO's F-150 powered the main stage, Tom Tengdin's Cybertruck powered the Big Wave Sushi truck, and Barry Rands' Kia EV9 kept the Firestone beer cold!
The DEEM event was organized and managed by the Green Transportation team of the SLO Climate Coalition. Funding for the EV Expo came from Electrify America in partnership with Ecology Action; the Driving Clean Assistance Program in partnership with the Community Environmental Council; Central Coast Clean Cities Coalition; and the SLO County APCD.

Event Description
Join us at the SLO Earth Fest in Meadow Park in the beautiful City of San Luis Obispo. Check out the the wide variety of electric cars that are now available in both the new and used car markets, talk to their owners, test drive the new 2025 crop of electric cars from Lucid, Kia, Hyundai, Chevy, Toyota, Honda and more. Learn how affordable EVs can be! And if a two-wheeled EV is in your future, we've got e-bikes, too. The Earth Fest will also have live music, a kid's zone, and a variety of activities for the whole family.
