Event Report
We had a great event thanks to DEEM! We had around 6 vehicles registered, but word got out and we had a total of 13 show up. This included a few brand new ones provided by local dealerships, daily drivers, and a couple of EV club enthusiasts who brought in their conversions! It was really neat to see a gas-powered BMW sportster that is now an EV with a 200hp electric motor.Lots of support and suggestions for our next event. This time we had to have it in an out-of-the-way campus parking lot due to current construction projects. This hampered attendance from students and the public. Our next EV car show will be more centrally located. Another great suggestion from an attendee was to bring in food trucks. Genius! Look for more EV events in the future for Everett CC. We want to have at least 2 per year, once during Earth Week and once in the Fall (when the greatest number of new students begin college).
