⚡️ Drive Electric Tampa Bay Earth Day – A Powerful Day of Innovation & Connection! ⚡️

What a blast we had showcasing the future of transportation at our recent Drive Electric Earth Month event! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to making this event such a high-voltage success — we couldn’t have pulled it off without YOU! 

Emergency Readiness in Action

A major highlight: TECO (Tampa Electric Company) unveiled their Mobile Emergency EV Charging Station, designed to deliver rapid charging in disaster-struck areas. Attendees watched in awe as they demonstrated it live.

Crowd Favorites

Visitors were wowed by a range of sleek, high-tech EVs on display, including:

• The futuristic Ford F-150 Lightning

• The zippy Rivian R1T

• The Harley-Davidson LiveWire electric motorcycle! 🏍️⚡  – a true fan favorite! 

• The Hyundai Ioniq - one of the most competitive EVs in the market.

Its owner, Eric Hovland, was thrilled about its numerous environmentally friendly features, including the use of recycled and renewable materials in components such as the seats, dashboard, and doors.

Event Description

The Tampa Bay EVA will be hosting a gathering of EV owners to celebrate Earth Month 2025. We will be showing our cars to the public and sharing our own experiences driving EVs. 

The transition to Electric Vehicles is here. EVs are cleaner, and quieter than fossil fuel vehicles. They are also safer, more advanced and more affordable, requiring no oil changes, fewer repairs and having an incredibly lower cost to power. 

If you or someone you know is considering an EV for their next vehicle and have questions, come over and see. You will have to opportunity to hear real answers from real EV owners, not salespeople. You will be able to see a variety of different EV makes and models, cars, trucks and bikes. You will also have the chance to sign up and receive some free gifts and goodies. Most of all be prepared to have a good time with us!
