Organized and run by Electric Vehicle owners as a part of Earth Week activities coordinated by the United Climate Action Network, Cazenovia (and all of Central New York State) takes part in Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive - Earth Day - CNY 2025, a free event starting at 10:00 am and continuing until 3 pm. The event is open to the pubic. You can test drive an electric vehicle or take a ride with an Electric vehicle owner or owners who will answer your questions, highlight the fun, clean-air benefits, and cost-savings of electric cars.
You can view a list of the plug-in vehicles owners registered to bring at the bottom of this page.
Remember to visit the many environmentally friendly organizations and displays inside the American Legion, too.
Important information for Electric Vehicle Owners:
- Note: This is tentative information. Check in for updates as the event approaches.
- We appreciate your enthusiasm and support of electric vehicle ownership and you willingness to share your experience and vehicle with others. Unfortunately, we have some limitations that may reduce the number of vehicles we can accommodate at the event. We encourage you to go ahead and register. We will follow up with you, if necessary. See the points below for more detail.
- This is a Ride and Drive event. We find that the EV driving experience is one of the most compelling reasons people elect to consider buying an EV. If you are bringing your EV, you must be willing to allow test drives and/or take visitors for rides. Otherwise, feel free to volunteer to help out at the event in some other capacity.
- This is a rain or shine event. Make sure you will be able to attend regardless of the weather on the day of the event.
- We will have limited space for Electric Vehicles. Depending on the number of EV owners registering, we may have to ask some to be volunteers or fill some other roll.
- We will strive to have as many different makes and models of EVs possible. Again, depending on the number of owners registering, we may limit the number of duplicate makes/models and ask some to be volunteers or fill some other roll.
