Event Report
Our recruiting organizers were able to attract two new car dealers to display their EVs during the entire event, a first for us at the upper end of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. We also had about 30 different makes and models of EVs with their owner displaying their vehicles including several pickup trucks, sedans SUVs and others. One exhibit included electric bicycles from a new bike dealer and another displaying conversion EVs. Thje venue was a very park-like parking lot just off a busy street that was easy to find for those looking for us and also for passers by who stopped to learn more. This event had the most and most diverse EVs of any event we have held in our six year history as a volunteer Chapter of EVA. We hope to do even more at other events later in the year.Event Description
Come! Bring your friends and family. Show off your EV or bring your questions about Electric Vehicles! Experienced owners can help you learn and think about the future of personal transportation to increase your enjoyment and save you money. See you there!
If you own an EV and can spend an hour or two register or just come and show it off to passers by who may know very little about this best form of private transportation. EVEVA will provide support and literature to help. Come and meet fellow EV drivers and learn more yourself.
Interested in a new to you vehicle? Come and learn from experienced EV drivers about the best and least expensive alternatives. You may have heard lots of things about EVs that now are obsolete as EVs get more sophisticated, reliable, and affordable. Never visit a gas station again. Learn about incentives to help out with purchase or lease of an EV and the installation of a charger where you park. See you there!
