Event Report
The DEEM at Franklin HS was part of the School's Green Day. Most of the other displays were indoors, while EV show and the pet zoo were in front of the school. It was a beautiful day and we were able to attract lots of visitors.
We were fortunate to have a group of enthusiastic EV advocates bringing diverse selection of EV models for a total of 12 models:
Chevy Bolt EV, Ford Mustang Mach-e, Smart ED, Genesis GV60, Honda Clarity PHEV, Volkswagen ID.4, Tesla Model 3 and X, Kia Niro EV, Rivian R1S and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
Thanks to these volunteers, more people know about the benefits of EVs and NJ Electric Vehicle Association.
Special Thanks to Franklin HS Green Team and Rod Brundidge, HS Vice Principal for allowing us to participate, also thanks to Franklin Twp Police Department for demonstrating their awesome Ford Mach-e, to Rutgers Solar Car Club for bringing pop-up, flyers and 3D print of their upcoming Solar Car project. We hope to see the actual Solar car at the Fall shows. Definitely coming before the Aptera.
Volunteers were wearing NJEVA shirts, which made us look professional and well-organized. NJEVA distributed DEEM flyers, offered surplus Nissan swag from 2024 as well as NJEVA magnets, window clings and stickers.

Event Description
Join New Jersey Electric Vehicle Association (NJEVA) and Franklin High School Green Team in their celebration of Earth Day. This annual event brings students, their parents and many vendors as well as township and county officials.
Bring your EV, new or old and share your experience driving electric.
This event will allow you to meet fellow EV owners, exchange ideas, and share your EV ownership experience with those who still don't drive electric. This year, we are fighting an uphill battle as the disinformation campaign reached the federal government. Let's focus on the tangible benefits of driving electric such as convenience, fun factor, saving money on fuel, maintenance and time by tapping into the home charging.
Dealers are welcome to offer ride&drives. You will be contacted for more details.
Make sure to bring your NJEVA T-shirt. If you have not obtained it last year, you will get one for free at the event.
For any questions, please get in touch with Stan by hitting the "contact" button.
The designated area for the EV show will be at the rear parking lot near the entrance. Follow the green feather flags "Drive Electric".
