Event Report
Wayne County Utah has about 2,500 residents, and about a dozen EVs. I organize the meet up to educate both prospective EV owners as well as our sometimes skeptical neighbors about the advantages of driving EVs. I organize the event as a meet up, as we don’t have many EVs in Wayne county, and we don’t get very many attendees. Folks who do attend are enthusiastic and appreciate the event. This year we had a smaller number of vehicles this year than last year. It was on Saturday before Easter and also during Passover, so some EV owners who did not attend mentioned scheduling conflicts. I try to schedule as close to earth day as possible, but maybe when it so often occurs during Easter/Passover I will try to take that into account next year.
