These are the vehicles we had on display: - Cadillac Lyriq EV
- Mercedes EQB300 4-matic
- Ford Lightning F-150
- Rivian
- Tesla Model S
The Tesla was an original launch model with nearly 130,000 miles on it in mint condition. Attendees were amazed that it is still running on the original battery after 13 years! The Ford Lightning F-150 was setup in "tailgate mode" with a TV connected to Wi-Fi and an Air Fryer in the frunk with an ECU ez-up tent setup in front of the electric vehicle. Fans of the ECU Pirates football team were impressed by this setup.

Event Description
East Carolina University will host the 40th Annual Pigskin Pig-Out Party on Saturday, April 26. This is a family-oriented festival style event surrounding the annual ECU Purple-Gold Spring Football Game at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. In addition to the pig cooking contest and football game, other scheduled activities include a Pig Out Your Ride Car Show, Touch-Arrrgh-Truck event, and an Electric Vehicle (EV) Display hosted by the ECU Sustainability Program.

This EV display/showcase is supported by the NC Clean Energy Technology Center and the Piedmont and Coastal Carolina Clean Communities Coalition.
Setup for the event will begin at 8:00AM on Saturday, April 26. The football game will start at noon, but several families, community members, and vendors will likely stay in the parking lots tailgating throughout the afternoon. We will likely begin wrapping up the display/showcase around 4:00PM and we would prefer for all displayed EVs to stay the duration of the event.
